Wednesday the 3rd of June was a milestone for the community of Black River. Guests and personalities came to the launch of KRN to Ruisseau Creole.
Our band, Musik dan Lapo, entertained guests with the rhythms of Mauritius. The event was the perfect platform for the KRN team to present its strategic plan to build a sustainable future for the people of Black River.
Personalities such as the First Lady, Mrs. Sarojini Jugnauth decided to Be Part of It.

Misik dan lapo is an ‘atelier de percussion’ funded by MT Foundation. The musicians from Lespri Ravann namely Kurwin Castel, Samuel Dubois and Kirty O’Clou teaches the children the technique for playing percussion instruments
